David Abrams, now in his 28th year of turnaround consulting, was a partner in the firm of Sheldon Lavin & Associates, Inc. and is now the principal of Abrams & Jossel Consulting. He has acted as a business/turnaround consultant to more than 200 companies in such diverse industries as direct marketing fulfillment, tire manufacturing, import-export, food distribution, meat packing and processing, real estate syndication, heavy equipment contracting, construction, medical, retailing and furniture. He has also sat on the Board of Directors of a number of his consulting clients. David Abrams is extremely detail-oriented and he plays a large role in every engagement that Abrams And Jossel Consulting undertakes.

In addition to the above, David Abrams has acted as an Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors in hundreds of cases and also as a Bankruptcy Trustee. Furthermore, David Abrams was appointed Acting President and CEO of The S&L Network, Inc. by its Board of Directors. In that role he oversaw the ongoing operation and subsequent sale of this $300 million real estate development and management organization.

Prior to joining Sheldon Lavin & Associates, Inc., David Abrams was a senior accountant with Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser in Chicago. There his audit experience ranged from one of the nation’s largest real estate syndicators to numerous operating, service related and distribution clients.

In his capacity as Partner David Abrams has always been valued for his discretion, integrity and absolute loyalty to the Company he is consulting for. David Abrams is a gentleman to a fault and is committed to every cause that he undertakes. David Abrams is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to being a CPA, he is also a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Accounting Degree.
