The company was highly leveraged through floor plan and line of credit facilities and required an Abrams & Josselover advance on their existing line of credit during the first quarter of the year which is typically slower for equipment dealerships in this part of the country. A&JC was engaged to assist the company with financial forecasting including the preparation of a 13 week rolling cash forecast and to provide management with recommendations for operating and financial improvements.

The Company was able to operate through their slow season and remain in compliance with the loan covenants that had been established based on A&JC’s forecast. Subsequently, through better inventory management and operating cost reductions, the company achieved sufficient profitability to obtain more favorable financing from a new lender.
